Hydrocoll hydrocolloid dressing, 15x15 cm (900748), 5 pieces, Hartmann

Hydrocoll is a self-adhesive hydrocolloid dressing . By absorbing exudate from the wound, the hydrocolloid particles turn into gel, maintaining a moist environment at the wound level. The outer polyurethane film is impermeable to germs and liquids, protecting the wound from external impurities and allowing daily toileting. The dressing is changed atraumatically, leaving no traces of gel.

Directions

• Non-infected wounds with reduced and moderate secretions
• Wounds with poor healing tendency and slow formation of granulation tissue (e.g. calf ulcer, eschar )

Dressing change

The dressing is removed at the moment of discoloration and the formation of a blister the size of the wound.
