Molkosan – Natural food supplement from Switzerland

Molkosan is produced in Roggwil, Switzerland, by Bioforce AG. This company is known for manufacturing natural health products based on the findings of Alfred Max Vogel. Made from whey, a byproduct of cheese production, Molkosan is distinguished by its natural content of lactic acid, vitamins, and minerals. Whey is virtually fat-free and contains only small amounts of protein and carbohydrates.

Molkosan manufacturing process

In the production of Molkosan whey concentrate, the milk protein is removed from the whey. Through fermentation with lactobacilli, the lactose is broken down, producing L+ lactic acid (dextrorotatory). The concentrate is then pasteurized to increase its shelf life. Molkosan is rich in vitamins B1, B2, and B6, as well as minerals such as potassium, calcium, and phosphorus. It is virtually carbohydrate-free, contains no protein, and is lactose- and gluten-free.

Using Molkosan for a healthy diet

The whey concentrate should be diluted 1:10 with water, tea, or fruit juice before drinking. It is also suitable for refining salad dressings or muesli. Thanks to its dextrorotatory lactic acid, Molkosan supports the acid-base balance and promotes a positive environment for the intestinal flora, which can have a beneficial effect on digestion and the immune function of the digestive system.
