Noba Nobasorb sterile absorbent compresses

The sterile absorbent dressing from Noba consists of a soft non-woven fabric encasing an absorbent core made of soft, bleached cellulose fluff and a cellulose layer for distributing exudate. A fluid-impermeable non-woven layer is located on the reverse side of the dressing. This absorbent dressing is used for the treatment and cleansing of heavily exuding, infected, or chronic wounds . It is also used for weeping wound healing disorders, for padding wounds, and as a secondary dressing for highly exuding wounds. It is intended for single use only.

Contraindications

All moderately to slightly exuding wounds, especially those in the granulation and epithelialization phases, as well as deep and undermined wounds, should not be treated with absorbent dressings. The product must not be used in cases of known allergy to any of its components.

Normative and legal requirements

The absorbent dressing is a medical device according to the German Medical Devices Act (MPG), Directive 93/42/EEC, and Regulation (EU) 2017/745 and is classified as Class Is, Rule 4. Sterilization is carried out in accordance with DIN EN ISO 11135. The product does not contain any hazardous toxic substances as defined by REACH.
