NutriniDrink Multi Fibre is a high-calorie oral nutritional supplement with 1.5 kcal/ml, specially formulated for children with a functioning gastrointestinal tract after their first year of life. The nutrients are balanced to suit children's needs and are suitable for the dietary management of disease-related malnutrition, for example, in cases of cystic fibrosis, failure to thrive, or wasting and neurological disorders. The oral nutritional supplement is gluten-free and contains a blend of six different fibers (mf6) to support fiber intake. The mixed carton offers four child-friendly flavors: banana, strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla.

When is NutriniDrink Multi Fibre suitable?

This product is suitable for enteral nutrition of children after the first year of life and can be used both as a supplement and as the sole source of nutrition. It is particularly indicated in cases of disease-related malnutrition, such as cystic fibrosis, failure to thrive, fluid restriction (e.g., in cases of heart disease), wasting diseases such as cancer, and neurological disorders such as infantile cerebral palsy.

Composition and nutrient profile

The protein in NutriniDrink Multi Fibre comes from high-quality, easily digestible milk protein. The fat component is a blend of sunflower and rapeseed oils, providing monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids, including omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. The carbohydrate content consists of di-, oligo-, and polysaccharides, ensuring a tiered energy supply. Each 100 ml serving contains 153 kcal, with a nutrient breakdown of 9% protein, 49% carbohydrates, 40% fat, and 2% fiber.

Application and recommended intake amounts

NutriniDrink Multi Fibre should be used as a supplement to nutrition, either individually or according to a doctor's recommendation. When used as the sole source of nutrition, the daily amount depends on the child's age and weight: 1- to 3-year-olds receive approximately 4 bottles per day, 4- to 6-year-olds approximately 5 bottles, 7- to 9-year-olds approximately 6 bottles, and children aged 10 to 12 approximately 7 bottles per day. Use should always be in consultation with the child's healthcare professional.

Important information and contraindications

NutriniDrink Multi Fibre is a food for special medical purposes (balanced diet) and must only be used under medical supervision. It is intended exclusively for enteral nutrition. The product must not be used if enteral nutrition is generally contraindicated or if there is an intolerance to any of the ingredients. NutriniDrink Multi Fibre is unsuitable for children under 1 year of age and for patients with galactosemia. Contains milk and soy ingredients.
