Description:

Omega 3 fatty acids (polyunsaturated acids with a double bond) are healthy fats, beneficial to the body, which it needs to develop and function properly and - very important to remember - which it cannot produce itself, so it needs to obtain them from food and/or very good quality supplements.

Benefits:

• Contributes to the normal functioning of the heart (the beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 250 mg of EPA and DHA);

Precautions and contraindications:

In general, Omega 3 supplements are considered safe, but there are some situations in which their use should be done with caution, namely:
- in the case of people with clotting disorders, as Omega 3 can have anticoagulant effects, so it is recommended to avoid it by people who take anticoagulant medications or who are at increased risk of bleeding.
- if there are allergies to fish. Since the Omega 3 supplement is derived from fish oil, people with fish allergies should not consume it.
According to the product label, Omega 3 1000 mg from Nutrific is not recommended for children under 16 years of age, pregnant or breastfeeding women, as well as for hemophilia or people allergic to fish or fish products. Caution is recommended for people with blood clotting disorders or taking antithrombotic drugs and for people over 70 years of age. It may interact with nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, garlic products or Gingko biloba, when administered concurrently.
Store at room temperature, in a dry place, away from direct sunlight.
