The PARI PEAK FLOW AIR offers a simple way to measure peak expiratory flow in adults and children. Equipped with an integrated mouthpiece, it supports physicians and patients in monitoring therapy. The traffic light indicator and 2-week log make it particularly user-friendly, and thanks to the protective case, it is easily portable. The measuring range of 50-800 l/min allows it to be used by various age groups.

• First, position the pointer at the bottom of the scale.
• Hold the device horizontally in front of your mouth and take a deep breath.
• Close your lips firmly around the mouthpiece.
• Breathe out as quickly and forcefully as possible for at least one second, without letting your tongue or teeth block the airflow.
• Avoid spitting or coughing to prevent inaccurate results.
• After measuring, reset the pointer and document the best value from three attempts.
• Take action according to your individual asthma treatment plan.

Care

Clean the device weekly, especially the mouthpiece, with an alcoholic solution (70% IPA, e.g., Sagrotan wipe).
