Used since ancient Egypt, Nigella vegetable oil has been known for thousands of years and is traditionally used in the Middle East, Africa and Asia. Nigella, also known as "Habbatul baraka" which in Arabic means "seeds of blessing", was found in Tutankhamun's tomb.
Also known as black cumin oil, it is concentrated in omega 6 essential fatty acids (45 to 60% linoleic acid), as well as terpene and phenolic compounds such as carvacrol. It is therefore an original plant source whose benefits are widely recognized.
