Description
Civets eat whole fruits of the coffee tree, from which they digest only the pulp - the hard bean remains whole and is excluded. Thanks to the protease enzyme, the coffee beans become softer and less bitter in the civet's digestive tract. This is a very valuable coffee that has many supporters.
Compared to robusta, arabica coffee is noticeably more demanding in terms of cultivation, climate and care. It is characterized by a better aroma and taste. Interestingly, compared to robusta, arabica contains a lower amount of caffeine. To preserve maximum quality, Salvia Paradise® coffee is packaged in an airtight, resealable package with an aroma valve.
