Remove the collar from the sealed protective bag. Fasten the collar around the animal's neck without tightening it too much. Two fingers should fit between the collar and the dog's neck. Pass the end of the collar through the buckle and cut the excess part of the collar 5 cm from the buckle.

Since the full effect of the collar occurs after one week, the collar should be applied one week before the estimated time of exposure of the animal to a possible infestation.
