Description
Composition: Each tablet of Sudafed contains: Low concentration: pseudoephedrine hydrochloride 30 mg; High concentration: pseudoephedrine hydrochloride 60 mg. Therapeutic action: Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride acts as a decongestant in the upper respiratory tract. Doses and method of administration: The usual dose is: - adults and children over 12 years: 2 tablets of low concentration 3 or 4 times a day or 1 tablet of high concentration 3 or 4 times a day. - children (between 6 and 12 years): 1 tablet of low concentration 3 or 4 times a day. Do not give Sudafed tablets to children under 6 years of age. If you forget to take your tablets, don't worry; take your next dose when it is scheduled. Indications: Sudafed Tablets are used to reduce the congestion present in upper respiratory tract conditions, such as colds, hay fever or "stuffy" noses. Precautions: It will be administered with caution in case of pregnancy and lactation; allergy; bacterial infection; high blood pressure or other heart conditions; diabetes; eye conditions; in case of treatment with antidepressants, decongestants, appetite stimulants or inhibitors. Overdose: follow the dose recommended by your doctor or the one written on the package. Symptoms: dizziness, weakness, drowsiness. Treatment: discontinue use and contact physician. Side effects: Sleep disturbances and very rarely hallucinations. Rashes that may or may not cause irritation. Restlessness. Men may notice difficulty urinating. Storage: away from direct heat or sunlight. Do not use after the expiry date marked "Exp" on the box or label. Keep Sudafed Tablets out of the reach of children.
