What is pantethine?
Pantethine is a chemical compound produced from pantothenic acid by the addition of cysteamine. It contains a disulfide bridge in its chain. The metabolic activity of pantethine is due to its role in the formation of coenzyme A (CoA), a cofactor required for the metabolism of lipids, carbohydrates and proteins. It works at the cellular level.
Each Swanson Pantesin ® Pantethine gelatin capsule contains 300 mg of patented pantethine with high bioavailability. The easy-to-swallow capsules are enclosed in a plastic package with a twist cap. 60 capsules will last up to two months of daily use.
