VESSELACTIV FORTE is a food supplement in capsules containing soy nattokinase. It is obtained from natto - a Japanese preparation based on fermented soybeans. Nattokinase has strong antithrombotic properties - it breaks down the fibrin networks that create clots. The body has a natural system for breaking down clots, based on the activity of fibrolysin, so nattokinase supplementation can be treated as an additional support for this process, especially since its activity is much higher than natural plasmin.
