Sebum, an essential element for the balance of the skin, is a lipid that ensures its softness and hydration. A lack of sebum leads to dryness of the skin, while an excessive amount makes it oily and promotes the formation of imperfections. The balance of sebum production is largely controlled by hormones, particularly testosterone.

Keratin is one of the essential proteins of the dermis. Containing a high percentage of sulphur-containing amino acids, it provides mechanical protection to the dermis, but an excessive amount of Keratin clogs the skin's pores and promotes the accumulation of sebum, which can lead to the formation of imperfections such as blackheads.

ZIMOCURE has been specifically designed to balance the production of sebum and keratin thanks to an original combination of zinc and molybdenum.

Zinc contributes to the maintenance of healthy skin* through various complementary actions, favoring:

• normal protein synthesis, in particular keratin
• normal testosterone levels to prevent excessive sebum production
• the normal metabolism of fatty acids, the excess of which favors the production of sebum
