Basic principles of healthy digestion: what helps keep your stomach healthy
Description Cetebe
The information in the FAQ section was created by the Liki24.co.uk team and is based on the official manufacturer's manual
Cetebe Imunity Plus is a dietary supplement containing vitamins C and D and zinc, which are essential for the body to function normally. Cetebe is recommended for strengthening the body's natural resistance to infections, reducing their severity and duration. Cetebe is recommended in stressful situations, infectious diseases, malnutrition and unbalanced diets.
What does Cetebe contain?
Cetebe contains 300 mg of ascorbic acid (vitamin C), 10 mg of zinc and 10 micrograms of vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol).
What symptoms does Cetebe treat?
Cetebe is indicated for the prevention and treatment of vitamin C deficiency and as an adjuvant in maintaining the body's natural resistance. Cetebe relieves severe fatigue during periods of intense physical and intellectual activity.
Cetebe alleviates symptoms associated with colds and flu (upper respiratory tract infections), especially during the cold season.
How does Cetebe work?
Through its components, Cetebe supports normal energy metabolism and protects cells against oxidative stress. Cetebe maintains bone health and helps maintain normal muscle function. The vitamin C in the medicine also plays an important role in regulating stress hormones.
How is Cetebe administered?
The recommended dose of Cetebe is 1-2 prolonged-release capsules per day, in the morning and evening. Cetebe capsules should be swallowed with plenty of liquid. The duration of treatment with Cetebe depends on the symptoms, laboratory tests and the recommendation of your doctor or pharmacist.
From what age can Cetebe be administered?
Cetebe can be administered to adults, adolescents and children over 6 years of age.
Can Cetebe be taken during pregnancy or while breastfeeding?
Vitamin C crosses the placental barrier and is excreted in breast milk. Cetebe is a dietary supplement and should not be taken during pregnancy or while breastfeeding unless the risk-benefit ratio has been carefully assessed by your doctor.
Are there any contraindications for taking Cetebe?
Cetebe is contraindicated in people who are allergic to any of the active ingredients or components of this medicine. Cetebe is not recommended for people suffering from severe renal insufficiency, recurrent urolithiasis (oxalic kidney stones) or iron metabolism disorders (thalassaemia, haemochromatosis, sideroblastic anaemia). Patients with glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency should follow the usual doses, as haemolysis has been observed when more than 4 grams of vitamin C have been administered.
What side effects can Cetebe have?
Like all medicines, Cetebe can cause side effects, especially at high doses of more than 1 g of ascorbic acid (vitamin C) per day.
Thus, some patients may experience digestive disorders (nausea, vomiting, acid regurgitation, diarrhoea) or urinary disorders (formation of urate, cystine and/or oxalate stones, slight increase in the amount of urine excreted). Patients with glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency may experience episodes of red blood cell destruction (haemolysis). If side effects occur, stop taking the medicine and consult your doctor.
Can Cetebe be taken with other medicines?
On the advice of your doctor or pharmacist, you can take Cetebe with other medicines. However, caution is advised when using Cetebe concomitantly with preparations containing iron, penicillin V, ethinylestradiol, corticosteroids, acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin), barbiturates or tetracyclines, as they may interfere with their absorption.
