Description Esberitox
The information in the FAQ section was created by the Liki24.co.uk team and is based on the official manufacturer's manual
Esberitox N is a natural supplement that helps stimulate the immune system. It has proven effective in treating acute and chronic respiratory infections and can be used to reduce the duration of colds, alleviate symptoms and lower the risk of infections caused by temporary immune deficiency. Esberitox works through a complex of three medicinal plants proven to be effective and active on the immune system, activating the body's defences in three different ways.
What does Esberitox contain?
One Esberitox tablet contains three active substances extracted from plants, which complement each other's action: 10 mg of Baptisia Tinctoria roots (which help accelerate antibody production), 7.5 mg of Echinacea Purpurea and Echinacea Pallida roots (which activate macrophage cells) and 2 mg of Thuja Occidentalis (which has a direct antiviral effect).
How is Esberitox administered?
Esberitox should be administered at the first signs of symptoms, depending on age:
- Adults and children over 12 years of age: 3 tablets 3 times a day
- Children up to 4 years of age: 1-3 tablets a day, as recommended by a doctor
- Children between 4 and 6 years of age: 1-2 tablets 3 times a day
- Children aged 7 to 12 years: 2 tablets 3 times a day
The tablets are administered orally, allowing them to dissolve in the mouth or by swallowing.
The duration of treatment varies depending on the indication: for acute conditions, the duration is 7-10 days, and for chronic conditions, the duration of treatment will be indicated by the doctor.
What are the benefits of Esberitox?
The natural product Esberitox contains 3 active substances extracted from plants, which complement each other's action and contribute to the normal functioning of the immune system, reducing the risk of infection or shortening the duration of infections.
Esberitox is recommended for:
- the treatment of acute respiratory infections (viral or bacterial) in children or adults;
- recurrent respiratory infections;
- infections favoured by temporary immunodeficiencies;
- contagious diseases in communities;
- during seasonal changes, for the prevention of respiratory infections;
At what age can Esberitox be administered?
Esberitox is a dietary supplement recommended for both adults and children. It can be administered to children over 4 years of age, and children under 4 years of age may take Esberitox on the recommendation of a doctor.
Can Esberitox be taken during pregnancy or while breastfeeding?
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
It should not be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding unless the risk-benefit ratio has been carefully assessed by your doctor.
Are there any contraindications for taking Esberitox?
It is contraindicated in people who are allergic to any of the active ingredients or components of this medicine.
Do not use Esberitox if you are allergic to any of the ingredients or to plants of the Compositae/Asteraceae family (e.g. chamomile, arnica, wormwood), or if you have progressive systemic diseases (such as tuberculosis, leukaemia, agranulocytosis), HIV/AIDS, autoimmune diseases (such as collagenosis or multiple sclerosis), as well as in combination with immunosuppressive treatment, after organ transplantation or chemotherapy.
What side effects can Esberitox have?
Due to the natural content of Esberitox, there are very few associated side effects. However, like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Hypersensitivity reactions (such as skin itching, pruritus, rare swelling of the face, dyspnoea, dizziness or drops in blood pressure) have been reported with products containing Echinacea. Gastrointestinal disorders have also been reported: abdominal pain, vomiting or diarrhoea.
If side effects occur, stop taking Esberitox and consult your doctor.
Can Esberitox be taken at the same time as other medicines?
Yes. As a natural food supplement, Esberitox does not interfere with the action of other medicines and can be used alone or as an adjunctive treatment. Concomitant use of symptomatic preparations such as nasal sprays, painkillers or cough and cold products is possible and often effective.
