Carci Reagent is an in vitro diagnostic device intended for semi-quantitative determination of the approximate amount of monohydroxyphenolic metabolites (tyrosine). Urine self-monitoring test.

How to use

1. For the test, use fresh first morning urine (medium urine stream), which will be collected into any clean vessel without traces of cleaning and disinfection agents.

2.Use the protective plastic cap to cover the ampoule and carefully break off the top of the ampoule. The ampoule should be handled carefully as it contains acid. The test should be performed immediately after opening the ampoule.

3.Put a urine sample into the pipette.

4.Add 3 ml of urine to the ampoule (repeat until the urine reaches the line on the ampoule).

5. After 3-5 minutes of reaction, evaluate the color of the liquid (or possible precipitate) by visual comparison with the attached color scale.

6. After the analysis, you can determine whether the tyrosine content in urine is negative or positive (the table can be used to determine the approximate amount of tyrosine in urine).

If the result is positive, follow the instructions in this package leaflet. (Attention, after a longer reaction (longer than 10 minutes) of urine with the reagent, the mixture degrades and the color no longer corresponds to the possible test result).
