Fluorecare ^® is a combined test kit for the presence of SARS-CoV-2, influenza A/B and RSV antigens. The medical device is suitable for children over 2 years old, teenagers and adults.

The antigen test can be used to help diagnose:

• coronavirus (COVID-19) in patients with symptoms within 7 days of onset,
• diseases caused by influenza viruses A and B,
• diseases caused by respiratory syncytial virus (RSV).

Home test for Covid, Influenza A/B and RSV - how does it work?

The medical device also enables qualitative detection and differentiation of SARS-CoV-2 antigen, influenza A virus antigen, influenza B virus antigen and/or RSV virus antigen. The test material is a nasal swab.

The test uses the colloidal gold method. After sample addition, the SARS-CoV-2 (or influenza A/B and RSV) antigen in the test sample combines with the colloidal gold-labeled SARS-CoV-2 (or influenza A/B and RSV) antibody on the binding plate . In this way, a complex is formed - antibodies to the antigen SARS-CoV-2 (or influenza A/B and RSV) with colloidal gold. It binds to the bound antibody in the detection line, revealing a red-violet band. Once the reaction is complete, the test results are interpreted by visual observation of the lines on the test plate.

The medical device can be used to detect the presence of one or all selectable antigens (SARS-CoV-2, influenza A/B, RSV). The product is characterized by a high sensitivity (from 92 to 95% depending on the type of virus). The result is obtained in 15 minutes.
