PIKOVIT syrup is specially designed for children from one year of age to cover the daily needs for healthy growth and development.
Contains vitamins A, C, D, B vitamins (B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B12).
PIKOVIT syrup is an over-the-counter medicine.
Benefits:

Ingredients:
5 ml of syrup contains
- Retinol, in the form of retinol palmitate (vitamin A) 900 IU
- Cholecalciferol (vitamin D3) 100 IU
- Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) 50 mg
- Thiamine hydrochloride (vitamin B1) 1 mg
- Riboflavin (vitamin B2) 1 mg
- Pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6) 0.6 mg
- Cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12) 1 µg
- Nicotinamide (vitamin PP) 5 mg
- D-panthenol (dexpanthenol) 2 mg
- The syrup also contains agar, gum tragacanth, sugar, liquid glucose, orange oil flavouring, grapefruit flavouring, orange flavouring, polysorbate 80, citric acid monohydrate, Ponceau red 4R (E 124), sodium benzoate, purified water.
How to use:
- Children between 1 and 3 years: the recommended dose is one teaspoon (5 ml) 2 times a day
- Children between 4-6 years: the recommended dose is one teaspoon (5 ml) 3 times a day
- Children between 7 and 14 years: the recommended dose is one teaspoon (5 ml) 3-4 times a day
- It is administered after meals, as is or mixed with tea, juice or fruit puree
- The bottle must be shaken before administering the syrup.
Precautions:
- You should not take Pikovit syrup if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to any of the components of the product or if you suffer from hypervitaminosis A or D
- Do not take doses higher than recommended: long-term administration of very high doses can produce hypervitaminosis A or D, although the possibility of overdose is small in the case of Pikovit syrup
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) of syrup contains 3 g of sugar
- Therefore, this product is not recommended for diabetics
- It is also not administered in cases of congenital fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption syndrome or sucrose-isomaltase deficiency.
