Following an injury of any kind to the skin, the healing process results in the formation of a scar.
The healing process can take anywhere from 21 days to two years.

Hypertrophic scars (and keloids) are the result of excessive collagen production affecting the intact skin surrounding the wound area.

What is Resolve Gel?

• Resolve is a medical device consisting of a transparent silicone-based gel.
• It uses moisturizing and occlusive action to maintain a constant temperature in the healing area and prevent tissue moisture loss.
• Silicone gel for the treatment of abnormal scars can be used in combination with Resolve self-adhesive silicone patches
• Silicone gel also works well in combination with compression therapy.

Indications:
It is recommended that the treatment be followed continuously for a period of at least 2 months for the best aesthetic result.

Instructions for use:

- Clean and dry the scar completely
- Remove the protective cover
- Press the tube
- A drop of gel will be released like this
- Apply the gel to the scar evenly massaging gently
- If the scar is very large, apply another drop
- When the gel has dried, clothing can be applied without problems
- Repeat the process 2-3 times a day.

Careful!

• Apply only to wounds that are healing. In case of maceration, redness or rash, discontinue treatment until symptoms have disappeared.
• Resolve Gel is contraindicated in patients with dermatological problems incompatible with long-term use of this product.
