How does it work?

Albumin is a protein produced by the liver and is one of the proteins in the blood plasma. Under normal conditions, albumin is not found in urine or only in very small amounts. An elevated level of albumin indicates a malfunction of the filtering function of the kidneys. Excessive excretion of albumin in the urine can indicate problems such as high blood sugar, triglycerides (fats), diabetes or high blood pressure. The self-diagnostic test determines the presence of albumin in the urine within 10 minutes. In case of a positive test, visit your general practitioner and discuss the next steps only with him.

Use:

• Take some urine in the included plastic cup. (The height of the sample in the plastic cup should be between 1 - 1.5 cm)
• Open the protective bag (at the notch), remove the test strip and hold it by the marked end
• Place the test strip perpendicular to the urine cup, in its notch, wait 5 to 10 seconds
• CAUTION: The urine level must not exceed the blue horizontal line on the test strip below the small arrows
• Remove the test strip from the container and put it on a dry horizontal place, wait for the reaction
• After 5 to 10 minutes, evaluate the test according to the package insert, do not evaluate after more than 15 minutes, to evaluate the result, compare the color intensity of the test and control lines
