The pine (Pinus sylvestris L.) is a conifer of variable height (up to 30 m) depending on the terrain and climate, especially widespread in the mountains. It is found throughout Europe and northern Asia. Pine buds have soothing properties for the respiratory tract.

Honey is a complex substance made up of over 180 elements. It is essentially made up of sugars, the most important of which are fructose (38%) and glucose (31%), two simple sugars that do not require digestion before being absorbed and are easily and directly assimilated by the body.
Furthermore, a wide variety of minor components are present, including phenolic acids and flavonoids, the enzymes glucose oxidase and catalase, ascorbic acid, carotenoids, organic acids, amino acids, proteins and α-tocopherol, and more than 30 minerals (calcium, sodium, magnesium, potassium, copper, manganese, chlorine, etc.).

Mallow (Malva sylvestris L. ) is a beautiful perennial plant with large flowers divided into three parts: a calyx with three free tongues, a calyx with five sepals and a corolla with five heart-shaped petals, pink-crimson in colour. Mallow leaves and flowers have emollient properties. With its calming and softening properties, mallow helps soothe sensitive throats.

Propolis is famous for its high content of flavonoids (a family of polyphenols). The antibacterial activity of propolis helps maintain the hygiene of the hive. Propolis is therefore known as the "natural shield" of the Hive.

Matricaria (Matricaria chamomilla L.) or German Chamomile is a small annual plant 20 to 50 cm tall, common along paths and in uncultivated areas of all our regions. It is found in Europe, Asia and North Africa. The entire plant, but especially the flowers, exude a very aromatic scent when rubbed and have a calming effect.

The Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus globulus Labill.), a large tree native to Australia, can reach a height of 35 m in our countries. It has acclimatized in most hot, dry regions of the world. Eucalyptus was rapidly planted in the subtropics of Asia and the Mediterranean basin. Aboriginal people used the leaves for their soothing properties on the throat.

Thyme (Thymus vulgaris L.) Small shrub no more than thirty centimeters tall, thyme is native to the Mediterranean basin and is common in the dry and rocky soil of southern France. It is known to help strengthen the immune system.
