Soft and protective: Cellona synthetic wadding is a durable, elastic padding material that serves to protect exposed bones and nerve areas under plaster and cast support bandages.

Versatile in its applications:
Synthetic cotton wool has a wide range of applications. Besides its protective function under plaster and cast support bandages, it is also used, among other things, for padding splints and compression bandages. In wound care, combined with textile wound dressings or ointment dressings, the cotton wool acts as padding.

Cotton-soft for wrinkle-free application:
The fine fiber pile is sufficiently dense for circular application, yet can be easily separated with gentle tension, preventing lumping and ensuring comfortable wear. The material is also well-suited for narrow areas like the thumb, as it can be tapered lengthwise with gentle tension. A material-related adhesive effect facilitates application of the padding, allowing for easy smoothing.

Good padding for comfortable wear:
Synthetic cotton wool is valued for its breathability and temperature-regulating properties. The fibers do not absorb moisture, allowing the stiff bandage to harden more quickly. Synthetic cotton wool is available in standard and sterile versions.
