Glucose data is automatically sent every 3 minutes to a free smartphone app. The transmitter, part of the CGM Anytime CT3 system, is reusable and has a two-year service life.

The Anytime CT3 CGM transmitter transmits glucose data from the continuous glucose monitoring system sensor to the mobile app in real time. It works by following these steps:

1. Receiving data from the sensor: The transmitter collects information about glucose concentration from the sensor placed in the interstitial fluid.
2. Data processing: Data from the sensor is converted by the transmitter into a digital signal that can be read by the AnytimeWell application.
3. Wireless data transfer: Using Bluetooth technology, the transmitter sends data to your smartphone every 3 minutes, providing ongoing glucose monitoring.
4. Alarms and Alerts: The data you provide allows the app to generate predictive alarms and alerts to warn you of hypoglycemia or hyperglycemia.
5. Reusable: The transmitter is a reusable device with a lifespan of 2 years, making it an economical and durable element of the system.

AnytimeWell: Designed for the patient, it allows for real-time monitoring of glucose levels. It displays current glucose data every 3 minutes, which translates to 480 readings per day.
AnytimeFollow: Designed for families/caregivers and professionals, AnytimeFollow provides real-time access to all patient data thanks to cloud-based data. Patients can invite up to 20 people to follow their Anytime CT3 CGM data.

How to use a medical device

1. Preparing the transmitter: Ensure the transmitter is fully charged before use. Charge the transmitter by placing it in the charging case. Charging takes less than 1.5 hours.
2. Installing the transmitter onto the sensor: After the Anytime CT3 CGM sensor is properly applied to the skin (according to the sensor's instructions), proceed to install the transmitter. Align the transmitter with the sensor slot and press gently until it is securely attached. It should be securely attached.
3. Pairing the transmitter with the app: Launch the AnytimeWell app on your smartphone. Follow the on-screen instructions to pair the transmitter with the app via Bluetooth. Once pairing is complete, sensor data will automatically be sent to the app every 3 minutes.
4. Glucose Monitoring: Track your glucose data in real time with the AnytimeWell app. Set personalized alarm thresholds for low and high glucose levels, and use predictive alerts.
5. Charging the transmitter: After the sensor has been used for 14 days, remove the transmitter from the sensor. Place the transmitter in the charging case and charge it before next use. Once charged, the transmitter is ready for use again with a new sensor.
6. Storage: Store the transmitter in a dry and safe place, away from extreme temperatures and humidity. Avoid mechanical damage and contact with strong chemicals.

The transmitter is intended for use only with Anytime CT3 CGM sensors.
