Cuticell Contact

Cuticell Contact is a sterile primary dressing for low to high exudate wounds that adheres to the surrounding tissue but not to the moist wound (Siltec technology). While wound exudate can pass freely through the silicone-coated dressing, the absorbent secondary dressing is prevented from becoming embedded in the wound. This allows the secondary dressing to be changed at any time without traumatizing the wound. The result is an undisturbed healing process and a high degree of treatment safety. Cuticell Contact consists of a thin, elastic polyurethane film coated on one side with soft silicone.

Latex-free formula. Not made with natural rubber latex.

Areas of application:
Cuticell Contact is suitable for the treatment of acute and chronic wounds, such as:

• Leg ulcer, pressure ulcer
• Surgical wounds
• Blistering
• First and second degree burns
• Split-thickness skin graft donor sites
• Cuts, abrasions and skin tears

Cuticell Contact can be used as a wound contact layer in conjunction with negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT). Cuticell Contact can be combined with antiseptics.

Duration of use:
Up to 14 days depending on the condition of the wound (e.g., amount of exudate) and the choice of secondary dressing.
