Description
Oleofarm D-Vitum Forte 2000 IU 60 capsules is a food supplement intended for adults. Contains linseed oil with a high content of omega-3 fatty acids, including alpha-linolenic acid (ALA).
Vitamin D:
- helps maintain healthy bones, teeth and adequate calcium levels in the blood,
- supports the proper functioning of muscles and the immune system,
- supports the absorption and proper use of calcium and phosphorus,
- participates in the process of cell division.
The body produces vitamin D through skin synthesis under the influence of solar UV radiation. However, in the summer, this synthesis is limited due to the use of cosmetic products with UV filters and it is recommended for the elderly and pregnant women to avoid excessive exposure to the sun. In fall and winter, vitamin D synthesis in the skin is limited due to reduced sunlight. In people over 65, a marked reduction in skin synthesis of vitamin D is also observed.
