EkaMedica linseed oil is a food supplement that contains linseed oil enriched with vitamin E. The valuable active ingredient is obtained by cold pressing.
What properties does linseed oil have?
Flax seeds, i.e. linseed ( Linum usitatissimum L.), are prized oilseeds that yield oil with an excellent fat profile. The EkaMedica formula uses oil rich in omega 3-9 unsaturated fatty acids, including alpha-linolenic acid and linoleic acid.
Alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) helps maintain normal blood cholesterol levels. The beneficial effect occurs when 2 g of ALA is consumed per day. In addition, vitamin E helps protect cells against oxidative stress.
The dark glass bottle contains 250 ml of unrefined, cold-pressed flaxseed oil, which will provide 25 days of daily unsaturated fatty acid supplementation.
