PREPARATION FOR ARTIFICIAL NAILS: Remove any nail polish and avoid using moisturizers or cuticle oil before application. 1. If your natural nails are long, trim them so that the artificial nails completely cover them. 2. Lightly file the surface of your natural nails using the soft side of the file. 3.
