The Horien Medical pregnancy test is a medical device that is a rapid test for the qualitative detection of human chorionic gonadotropin hCG in urine . The one-step test is performed to detect pregnancy early.
The Horien Medical pregnancy test works on the principle of an immunochromatographic test, called a rapid diagnostic test. A fresh urine sample is required, which is placed in the test window. Then, the hCG hormone found in a pregnant woman's urine reacts with the anti-hCG monoclonal antibodies that were applied to the test. As a result of this reaction, colored bands appear on the test, indicating fertilization.
The Horien Medical GT-002 test is suitable for use by both professional and home users.
