Hydrocoll
The fast-absorbing hydrocolloid dressing for moist wound healing
Hydrocoll is an absorbent, self-adhesive hydrocolloid dressing with a semipermeable, germ-proof top layer. It creates a moist wound environment through gel conversion of the hydrocolloid dressing components, with the gel remaining absorbent until the hydrocolloids are saturated. It promotes granulation and epithelialization and can be removed without wound irritation. Available in 5 different versions and sizes for needs-based use. Sterile and individually sealed.
Application:
For moist wound treatment of clinically non-infected, weakly to moderately exuding wounds, especially wounds with poor healing tendencies and prolonged granulation development, e.g., leg ulcers or pressure sores. Hydrocoll sacral is used for pressure ulcers in the sacral area, Hydrocoll concave for the heel or elbow.
