Prevention and treatment of various diseases require the use of appropriately selected pressure force. Light compression products, i.e. compression class 1 (marked CCL 1 on the packaging), are intended for the prevention of venous problems. They should be worn to avoid venous diseases, even if you have no symptoms or when the first symptoms are noticed. They can be used without consulting a doctor if there are no contraindications. In the treatment of venous diseases, products are also used in higher compression, e.g. in compression class 2 (marked CCL 2 on the packaging). Consult your doctor before purchasing them.

How to use

How to choose the right size of JOBST compression products - STEP by STEP measurement.

Their therapeutic effect largely depends on the correct selection of medical compression products, so their proper fit is crucial. The measurement should be taken in the morning, when the legs are less swollen than during the day.

Step 1: measure the leg circumference at the points indicated in the table: cB - leg circumference at the narrowest point, just above the ankle, cC - calf circumference at its widest point.

Step 2: remember to measure both legs on which you will use the compression stocking, write down the measurements for one leg and the other leg respectively.

Step 3: Compare your measurements with the size chart below and choose the correct size. You should choose a size that covers most of the dimensions from the table marked during measurement. If measurements overlap in two sizes, consider the following factors: The measurement above the ankle (cB) should be as close to the middle of the range as possible. If the left and right leg dimensions differ significantly, you should choose two different product sizes.

JOBST compression products should be washed every day or at least every other day whenever possible. Ordinary mild detergents can be used for this purpose. Do not use washing additives such as fabric softeners, optical brighteners or stain removers. After washing, rinse the compression garments thoroughly. Wrap the wet tissue in a towel and squeeze out excess water. Do not twist. Do not dry compression stockings on a radiator or expose them to direct sunlight. Information on the possibility of using a tumble dryer is provided on the label of the compression garment.
