A medical device in the form of a convex baseplate, the shape of which allows for a proper fit to the stoma. The baseplate is specifically designed for stomas that are flat, concave, located in folds, or on soft abdominal walls. The baseplate does not require the use of scissors, as it has a pre-cut opening.

Product characteristics

Natura Durahesive Convex is a wafer used in two-piece stoma systems. Its convex shape gently presses against the skin around the stoma, lifting it above the surface. This allows for a precise seal. The outer part of the wafer is made of soft, flexible non-woven fabric, while the inner part is made of Durahesive, a moisture-absorbing material that causes the wafer to swell, enveloping the stoma completely, sealing it and ensuring safe use.
