UV is an abbreviation of the English words: ultraviolet radiation, which means ultraviolet radiation found in solar radiation. The cream formula contains 2 types of UV filters:

• UVA is the radiation with the longest wavelength. UVA rays penetrate the dermis and subcutaneous tissue and destroy them without causing the erythema or burning that is popular with sunburn. This radiation penetrates the glass and its intensity is independent of the season.
• UVB – is a high-energy radiation that penetrates the deep layers of the epidermis and the upper layer of the dermis.
