Rutin belongs to a family of plant compounds called bioflavonoids. It is a quercetin glycoside - a combination of quercetin and a molecule. It is found naturally in oranges, lemons and grapes. A rich source of rutin in the diet can also be chokeberry, blueberries, apples or vegetables such as tomatoes, potatoes and carrots.
Now Foods capsules use rutin obtained from the inflorescences of a tree called Sophora japonica . The recommended dose is 1 capsule 1-2 times a day. The package contains 100 pieces of the preparation.
