OMK1 ophthalmic solution, 4x10 ml, Omikron

Glaucoma is a progressive damage to the optic nerve most often associated with (and caused by) increased intraocular pressure. It includes several clinical forms of the disease having in common the death of retinal ganglion cells with papilla changes and progressive deterioration of the visual field.
Due to the presence of Citicoline, OMK1 provides a useful and beneficial structural support for restoring the membrane integrity of retinal neurons damaged by degenerative eye diseases, such as glaucoma.

Moreover, solutions containing hyaluronic acid are able to create a favorable microenvironment for the healing processes of the ocular surface in case of corneal or conjunctival epithelium injuries. In fact, the hyaluronic acid that is obtained through biotechnological synthesis gives birth to a mucomimetic, mucoadhesive and viscoelastic solution, capable of improving the stability of the tear film and in this way OMK1 keeps the surface of the eye lubricated, hydrated and protected.²

Indications:

- adjunct to the antihypertensive treatment of patients with glaucoma and the improvement of sensations of irritation, burning or foreign body.

Composition:

2% Citicoline + 0.2% high molecular weight hyaluronic acid.

How to use:

1 drop X 3 times/day, 10 ml bottle, 30 days of treatment.
