Description
Bandage for the management of full and partial thickness wounds with moderate to heavy exudate that may be prone to minor bleeding.
Features
Suitable for:
Postoperative wounds, leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic ulcers, traumatic wounds, cavitary wounds, graft and donor sites, fungal carcinomas, superficial and partial thickness burns.
- Do not use in patients with known allergy to alginates.
- Do not use on dry or necrotic tissue.
- It is not intended for use as a surgical sponge or to achieve hemostasis in heavily bleeding wounds.
- When used on infected wounds, the infection should be inspected regularly.
- If the dressing does not come off easily, soak it with saline solution and then remove it.
