The school geographical atlas combines a global approach (on world maps) with a regional overview (continents and parts of continents), which was developed in detail for Poland. The characteristics of the natural environment, social and economic issues are based on the latest available statistical data and specialist studies. Political changes (e.g. South Sudan), new divisions introduced by scientists (e.g. the Southern Ocean) and economic activities that are important for our future (the energy dependence of European Union countries on fuel imports from Russia) are introduced on an ongoing basis. A permanent set of thematic maps developed for each continent allows for analyzes that enrich the thematic maps specific to each region (e.g. changes in the surface of the Aral Sea, Silicon Valley, the European Union, etc.).
