Everyday tips for dry eyes ³

You can prevent acute episodes of dry eyes and alleviate symptoms by making a few changes to your daily routine. This includes avoiding air currents that directly affect your eyes, such as those from hair dryers, car air conditioning, or office air conditioning. It's also advisable to monitor the humidity in rooms and, if necessary, use a humidifier. When reading or working at a screen for extended periods, it's recommended to take regular breaks. A healthy diet with an adequate intake of omega-3 fatty acids can also be beneficial.

Frequently Asked Questions and Answers

Can I use Systane® BALANCE lubricating eye drops if I wear contact lenses?
With Systane® BALANCE, it is recommended to instill the lubricating drops before and after wearing the contact lenses. Other Systane® products, such as Systane® ULTRA and Systane® HYDRATION, can be instilled while wearing contact lenses.

Do Systane® products need to be stored in the refrigerator?
No. All Systane® products can be stored at room temperature.

Is the milky-white color of Systane® BALANCE normal?
Yes. Systane® BALANCE is an emulsion. This means that the ingredients do not mix completely. This results in the milky-white color of the drops.

Why do I need to shake the bottle of Systane® BALANCE before use?
Systane® BALANCE is an emulsion. During storage, the individual ingredients may separate. Shaking the bottle ensures that all ingredients are properly distributed before dispensing.
