Cistiflux is a natural supplement indicated for recurrent cystitis and for the prevention of urinary tract infections. Its active ingredient is American cranberry extract (Vaccinium macrocarpon).
Forms of release
Cistiflux is available in sachets – Cistiflux sachet, box of 14 sachets.
Indications
Cistiflux is recommended for recurrent cystitis, as an additional treatment for cystitis or for the prevention of urinary tract infections. It also protects the urinary system and ensures its proper functioning, thanks to its American cranberry extract content. Cranberries contain substances called proanthocyanidins, which have anti-adhesive properties, which can help prevent bacteria from adhering to the walls of the bladder, especially Escherichia coli.
Dosage and administration
Cistiflux is suitable for adults and children, and the doses vary. For adults and children over 12 years of age, 1 sachet of Cistiflux twice a day is recommended. For children between 3 and 12 years of age, 1 sachet per day is recommended.
How to take Cistiflux: Cistiflux sachets are dissolved in a glass of water. They are usually taken in the morning and evening, between meals and with an empty bladder. For young children, when the daily dose is 1 sachet per day, it should be dissolved in water and administered in the evening, before bedtime, with an empty bladder.
How long to take Cistiflux: The duration of treatment varies depending on the indications for which you are taking this product, the severity of the problem and other treatments used. Take it for as long as your doctor recommends.
Contraindications
This product is contraindicated in case of allergy or sensitivity to any of the product's ingredients.
Interactions with other medicines and foods
In general, this supplement is safe. However, as with any other pharmaceutical product, there may be some drug interactions. Inform your doctor about any other treatments you are taking. Cranberry may interact with anticoagulant drugs (drugs that thin the blood), potentiating their effect.
