Delmar is a product dedicated to the hygiene of the nasal cavity and the restoration of the normal physiological function of the nasal mucosa. It takes the form of a sea salt solution enriched with calcium pantothenate, helping to rehydrate and protect the nasal mucosa affected by irritant factors or unfavorable environmental conditions.
Delmar is useful both for daily use and for the relief of symptoms associated with colds, allergic rhinitis or other conditions affecting nasal breathing.
Forms of release
Delmar Panthenol is available as a 50 ml nasal spray. The packaging is fitted with a handy atomizer that allows precise administration of the solution.
Each bottle contains an isotonic sea salt solution enriched with calcium pantothenate.
Indications for use
Delmar Panthenol is recommended for:
- Daily hygiene of the nasal cavity, ensuring cleansing and rehydration of the mucosa
- Treating nasal mucosa affected by colds or nasal obstructions
- People with dryness and irritation of the nasal mucosa caused by air conditioning or exposure to dry environments
- Preparing the nasal mucosa for other drug treatments such as nasal drops
- Acceleration of the epithelialization process of damaged mucosa after the administration of nasal drug treatments
Dosage regimen
The product can be used several times a day as needed. General recommendations are as follows:
- Adults and children over 1 year - Spray 1-2 doses in each nostril, several times a day.
- Children under 1 year - Spray 1 dose in each nostril several times a day.
For optimal use, slow inhalation is recommended during spraying. After use, the sprayer should be cleaned with water and the protective cap replaced to maintain hygiene.
Contraindications
Delmar Panthenol Nazal Spray is generally well tolerated. However, its use is contraindicated in the following situations:
- Hypersensitivity to any of the product ingredients (sea salt, calcium pantothenate, benzalkonium chloride)
- Severe lesions or active infections of the nasal mucosa requiring specific treatment
Particulars of use
The product can be used long-term, but it is advisable to consult a doctor if symptoms persist.
Delmar can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding and has no known adverse effects during these periods.
Side-effects
Side effects are rare but may include:
