Emetix motion sickness

Motion sickness occurs when there is conflicting information between the visual factors, the inner ear (the vestibular system at this level is responsible for maintaining balance) and the proprioceptive system (which provides information about the position of the body in space) and the brain: for example, in a car we perceive movement even though we are at rest. Anxiety can contribute to motion sickness.

Ginger, the main ingredient in Emetix tablets, has a proven effect in relieving nausea, vomiting and motion sickness by acting locally. Emetix motion sickness is also combined with vitamin B6, which acts on the nervous system. It is recommended to take one tablet 30 minutes before the start of the journey, followed by a maximum of 2 tablets per day for children and a maximum of 7 tablets per day for adults, at 4-hour intervals.

Emetix hangover

A hangover is physiologically characterised by dehydration and inflammation. Alcohol also irritates the gastric mucosa. Thus, the Emetix hangover formula, based on ginger (with antiemetic and anti-inflammatory properties) combined with vitamin C and B vitamins (B6, B5, B2, B1, B12; contributes to the proper functioning of the nervous system) can help you recover. Emetix hangover is a powdered product, which is absorbed more quickly. Due to the presence of vitamin B12 in its composition, caution is advised in cancer patients.

Alinan Emetix

This is the classic Emetix formula (ginger and vitamin B6), but in the form of an oral suspension, making the supplement more palatable for children. It is recommended for motion sickness, nausea, vomiting, stress or after heavy meals.

Akadika Emetix

This is a ginger and vitamin C supplement in the form of blackcurrant-flavoured lozenges, useful for motion sickness, nausea and vomiting in children. Contains sugar.

Emetix motion sickness: the maximum recommended dose is no more than 3 tablets/day for children and no more than 8 tablets/day for adults, at intervals of at least 4 hours. The first tablet should be taken 30 minutes before travel to prevent motion sickness.

Emetix hangover should preferably be taken after waking up, dissolving the contents of one sachet in 150-200 ml of cold water.

Alinan emetix can be administered to children over 2 years of age in a dose of 0.5 ml, not exceeding 1.5 ml/day. After 4 years, the dose is 1 ml of suspension, not exceeding 3 ml/day for children aged 4-6 years and not exceeding 14 ml/day for children over 6 years.

Akadika emetix (Emetix lozenges) – Emetix lozenges should be administered 1-2 lozenges per day to children over 3 years of age.

Emetix is permitted during breastfeeding and pregnancy for the symptomatic treatment of motion sickness, nausea and vomiting.

Concomitant use with oral anticoagulants (Sintrom, Trombostop, Eliquis) increases their effect.
