Both Excilor and Kitonail treat nail fungus. The difference lies in their composition. Kitonail contains ciclopirox. The duration of treatment with Kitonail is longer, at least 6 months, than with Excilor.

Unlike Excilor, Exoderil is also used to treat skin fungal infections, including candida, pityriasis versicolor and inflammatory dermatomycoses (with or without itching).
