Hylo is an ophthalmic drop product indicated for lubricating and supporting the healing of damaged eye surfaces, for example due to dry eyes or surgical procedures. It is a sterile solution, free from phosphates and preservatives.
Forms of release
These drops from Ursapharm are available in several forms:
- Hylo gel lubricating eye drops, 10 ml
- Hylo Dual drops, 10 ml
- Hylo Comod lubricating drops, 10 ml
- Hylo Care drops, 10 ml
- Hylo Parin drops, 10 ml
Contains sodium hyaluronate as the main ingredient.
Indications
These types of eye drops are indicated for lubricating the surface of the eye in cases of dryness or dry eyes. They can also be used after ophthalmic surgery. Hylo Dual also relieves inflammatory symptoms in cases of irritated eyes, reducing itching and burning sensations.
Dosage and administration
In general, it is recommended to instill one drop of Hylo three times a day in each eye. It can be used more frequently if necessary. Hylo is a product indicated for long-term treatment. However, doses may vary depending on the individual product and the specific instructions of your doctor.
Contraindications
Hylo should not be used by people who are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients.
Interactions with other medicines and food
If you are using other eye drops, Hylo should always be administered last and you should wait 30 minutes between applications. It is recommended to apply ophthalmic ointments after using Hylo.
Side effects
In very rare cases, hypersensitivity reactions such as burning sensations or excessive tearing may occur, which usually disappear immediately after discontinuing use of the product.
Overdose
Follow the recommended doses and do not use more than recommended.
Storage
Store the drops away from heat and moisture. In general, they should be used within 60 days of first opening the bottle. Read the instructions on the packaging carefully.
