Molekin

The Molekin range includes various pharmaceutical forms, tailored to individual preferences and needs: tablets, effervescent tablets or syrup.

For example, Molekin Imuno tablets contain double-layer coated tablets (MRS system), packaged in boxes of 90 units. Molekin Effervescent Zn 15 mg contains effervescent tablets, in bottles of 20 tablets.

The supplements in the Molekin range are recommended to support immune function during periods of high risk of infection, in the cold season, in cases of prolonged physical or mental stress, as well as in situations where dietary intake of vitamins and minerals is insufficient. 

Vitamin C and zinc help protect cells from oxidative stress, whilst vitamin D plays an essential role in maintaining the health of the skeletal and muscular systems. 

Molekin C1000, Rutin and Zinc is also recommended to support the health of the skin, gums, ligaments and blood vessels, thanks to the role of vitamin C in collagen synthesis and the antioxidant effects of rutin.

The combination of vitamin C, vitamin D and zinc is based on solid scientific evidence supporting the synergistic role of these micronutrients in immunity, bone and muscle health, as well as in maintaining the structural integrity of tissues.

For Molekin Imuno and Molekin C1000, Rutin and Zinc, the recommended dose is 1 tablet per day, to be taken with sufficient water, preferably with meals.

For Molekin Zn 15 mg, take 1 effervescent tablet daily, dissolved in a glass of water.

The products are intended exclusively for adults and the recommended daily dose must not be exceeded.

Molekin is contraindicated in people with known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. Administration should be avoided in cases of hypervitaminosis D or severe zinc metabolism disorders. 

People suffering from kidney disease, sarcoidosis or other granulomatous diseases should only use the product on medical advice.

Thanks to the high vitamin C content (1000 mg/tablet), Molekin products can be used safely for a limited period at the recommended doses, as they are well tolerated by most adults. 

The MRS system reduces fluctuations in plasma vitamin C concentrations and minimises the risk of gastric irritation. Molekin is suitable for vegans and people who are lactose- or gluten-intolerant, an important consideration in the context of restrictive diets.

In general, Molekin is well tolerated. Mild gastrointestinal disturbances, nausea or diarrhoea may rarely occur, particularly when taking high doses of vitamin C. 

Long-term excessive intake of zinc can cause imbalances in copper metabolism, which is why it is essential to adhere to the recommended doses.

Vitamin C can affect iron absorption, increasing its bioavailability, which is beneficial in some situations but requires caution in people with haemochromatosis. 

Zinc can reduce the absorption of certain antibiotics (tetracyclines, quinolones), which is why it is recommended that they be taken at least 2 hours apart. 

Exceeding the recommended doses may cause digestive problems (osmotic diarrhoea, abdominal cramps) in the case of vitamin C, or nausea and a metallic taste in the case of zinc. Chronic overdose of vitamin D may cause hypercalcaemia, with significant systemic symptoms. 

In the event of accidental ingestion of high doses, it is recommended to discontinue use and consult a doctor.

Molekin products should be stored at room temperature, below 25 °C, away from moisture and direct light, in the original packaging. Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
