Papilocare vaginal gel is a medical device in the form of a re-epithelialising gel, designed for the prevention and adjuvant treatment of lesions caused by HPV (human papillomavirus). It is manufactured by Gedeon Richter and is available in a pack of 7 Papilocare single-dose cannulas, each containing 5 ml of gel.
Forms of release
Papilocare Gedeon Richter is available on the market in the form of a vaginal gel, 7 cannulas.
Indications for use
Papilocare vaginal gel helps to control and re-epithelialise the transformation zone of the cervix to prevent the risk of lesions (LSIL) caused by HPV. It maintains the health and integrity of the cervix, forms a protective barrier and supports the natural healing process of HPV-induced lesions. It can be used as part of the treatment for intraepithelial lesions in the cervicovaginal mucosa, speeds up the healing process and helps regenerate affected tissues. It can also combat dryness and discomfort in the cervicovaginal mucosa. It moisturises and maintains optimal moisture levels, restoring vaginal comfort and health.
Dosage and administration
To use, apply a single-dose cannula to the vaginal area, preferably before bedtime. Press the container to empty the contents and then remove gently, without rinsing. The single-dose cannula should be discarded after use. It is recommended to apply the gel once a day for 21 days, and then once every 2 days, according to medical instructions.
Contraindications
There are also some contraindications for Papilocare vaginal gel. These include known allergy or hypersensitivity to any of the gel's ingredients. It is not recommended for use during pregnancy or for people under the age of 18.
Interactions with other medicines and food
It is important to inform your doctor about all medications, supplements or treatments you are using before starting to use Papilocare vaginal gel. There is a possibility of drug interactions, and your doctor can provide you with appropriate recommendations in this regard.
Side effects
People who are sensitive to any of the ingredients in Papilocare may experience allergic reactions such as itching, rashes, swelling or difficulty breathing. In such cases, you should stop using the gel immediately and seek medical advice. Some people may experience temporary discomfort, burning or tingling in the vaginal area during or immediately after using the gel. If the symptoms do not disappear or persist and intensify, it is recommended that you consult your doctor.
Overdose
Follow the recommended dosage and avoid overdose.
Storage
Store the product at room temperature, away from moisture and heat.
