Procor are medicines from Sun Wave Pharma. Procor Forte is a dietary supplement recommended as an adjunct in the treatment of cardiovascular disorders, for normal functioning of the cardiovascular system. Procor T is a dietary supplement recommended as an adjunct in the treatment of thyroid disorders, for normal functioning of the thyroid gland and hormone secretion.
Forms of release
Procor is available in two forms:
- Procor Forte
- Procor T
Procor Forte contains active ingredients known for their beneficial properties on the cardiovascular system: coenzyme Q10 150 mg, vitamin B2 10 mg, piperine 1 mg and selenium 50 mcg.
Procor T contains 500 mg of myo-inositol, a substance essential for the proper functioning of tissues, along with 15 mg of zinc, 0.5 mg of copper and 100 mcg of selenium, elements that contribute to the proper functioning of energy metabolism.
Indications for use
What is Procor T good for? Procor T maintains thyroid hormone balance, supports thyroid function, lowers thyroid antibody levels in Hashimoto's thyroiditis, reduces anxiety and reduces episodes of insomnia. The combination of myo-inositol with elements such as selenium and zinc contributes to the efficient use of insulin, especially in diseases such as Hashimoto's thyroiditis or polycystic ovary syndrome.
What is Procor Forte? Procor Forte supports the proper functioning of heart cells, improves blood circulation, and reduces fatigue and physical exhaustion. Procor Forte prevents fat deposits in the blood vessels and regulates blood pressure.
Dosage and administration
Procor T for the thyroid or Procor Forte is taken orally, one capsule per day with a large glass of water. The duration of treatment depends on the doctor's instructions.
Contraindications
There are also some contraindications for Procor Forte or Procor T. Procor T or Forte is contraindicated in people who are allergic to any of the active ingredients or components of this medicine. These dietary supplements are not recommended for children or people suffering from kidney failure.
Interactions with other medicines and foods
On the advice of your doctor or pharmacist, you can take Procor T or Procor Forte together with other medicinal products. However, for safety reasons, inform your doctor or pharmacist about any treatments you are following.
Side effects
Like all medicines, Procor T or Forte can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
The most common side effects are: abdominal pain, diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, erythematous and pruritic skin rashes. If side effects occur, stop taking Procor T or Forte and consult your doctor.
Overdose
Follow the recommended doses to avoid any possible effects of overdose.
Storage
Store in a dry, cool place, away from moisture and heat.
