Indications for use specifying the target species ALFADIN solution is a disinfectant that destroys many pathogens (antimicrobial effect) and is suitable for disinfecting skin and mucous membranes. The drug is effective against bacteria, viruses, fungi and protozoa. It is used for disinfection of the operating field, injection and castration, disinfection of external births, disinfection of the umbilical stump of newborns, for washing wounds. For use in the disinfection of teat surfaces, mammary gland, hands and all surfaces. The drug is practically non-toxic. ALFADIN solution is antimicrobially effective in the pH range 1.5 - 6.

Use during pregnancy, lactation, egg laying Influence is not known.

Drug interactions and other forms of interaction ALFADIN solution should not be used together with enzyme ointments.

When absorbed into the systemic circulation, the effect of oral anticoagulants may be reduced.

Dosage and method of administration of the medicine The medicine is applied undiluted directly in the surgical field or the place intended for disinfection. For washing the wound, it is used in a dilution of 1–2 ml of commercial solution per 100 ml of sterile physiological solution.

The drug is intended only for short-term local use, overdose is unlikely with this method of administration.
