Honeycomb type mattresses have two operating programs - the static program (in which all the tubes are filled with air at constant pressure) and the variable program (the tubes are filled with air at variable pressure, preventing the occurrence of bedsores). In static mode, the variable program is stopped. The static mode is used in special situations (washing or transporting patients). If used, the static mode reduces the bedsore prevention properties of the mattress.

Characteristics:
The system is silent and economical, easy to install, use and maintain, with a honeycomb mattress made of non-toxic material (PVC) 0.3 mm thick (washable mattress with edges for fixing).
The compressor must work permanently as long as the patient is seated on the mattress, to ensure the alternative inflation and deflation of the cells.
This fact prevents the appearance of bedsores.
