Aspenter Acut contains the active substance acetylsalicylic acid, which acts on blood cells and inhibits the aggregating properties of blood (prevents the formation of blood clots). It prolongs bleeding time.

This medicine is used in adults over 18 years of age for suspected acute myocardial infarction (heart attack), after contacting emergency medical services.

If you suspect you are having a heart attack, CALL the emergency number 112.

Common warning signs of a heart attack are:
- Chest pain or discomfort
- Dizziness, nausea or vomiting
- Pain in the jaw, neck, or back
- Discomfort or pain in the arm or shoulder
- Difficulty breathing

Do not take Aspenter Acut:
- if you are allergic to acetylsalicylic acid or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Aspenter Acut.
- if you have asthma or allergies
- if you have a history of bleeding disorders

Pregnancy, lactation and fertility:
This medication can be used as an emergency treatment for cardiac-type chest pain during pregnancy.
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
This medicine can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding, after contacting emergency medical services.

Aspenter Acut contains sodium.
This medicine contains 595 mg sodium (the main component of table/cooking salt) in each bottle. This is equivalent to 30% of the maximum recommended daily intake of sodium for an adult.

Aspenter Acut is indicated for use in adults (over 18 years of age).
