• In addition to its particularly appreciated fragrance that exudes freshness, bergamot oil also has beneficial properties in cosmetic applications, being tonic and purifying. It is free of photosensitizing molecules, so it can be included without risk in cosmetic preparations, especially those intended for mixed/oily skin.
• Bergamot is a fruit from the citrus category, very bitter and therefore not consumed, which is cultivated for the production of the essence extracted from the peel. Bergamot essential oil is widely used in perfumery, but also for flavoring, it gives that unmistakable aroma of Earl Gray tea. With its fresh notes, bergamot oil is suitable for both female and male perfumes.
• The original recipe of the Eau de Cologne contains bergamot oil.
• The bergamot oil in our offer is free of furocoumarins, especially bergapten, molecules that can cause photosensitization on the skin. Therefore, the skin can also benefit without risk from the fragrance and the beneficial action of this essence.

Method of obtaining:
By cold pressing from the skin of the fruit followed by steam distillation.

Clear, colorless liquid.

Olfactory description:
Fresh, fruity, slightly floral and bitter.

Properties:

Way of ussage:
- it is a product that is not used as such on the skin, only as an ingredient in cosmetic preparations, perfumes and compositions for aromatherapy;
- included in cosmetic preparations in the usual concentration of 0.5-2%;
- for skin care it can be included in: creams, lotions and toners, especially for mixed or oily skin;
- for a fresh, clean smell, but also for the purifying action in hygiene preparations: cleansers, shampoos, shower gels;
- as an ingredient in deodorants for women and men alike;
- diffused into the air for perfuming and creating an atmosphere of serenity and balance;
- diluted in a vegetable oil (macadamia, sesame) for positive massage, increasing self-confidence;
- together with other essences with top, middle and base notes, for the creation of liquid or solid perfumes, eau de toilettes and body sprays.
