GEL AND ORAL SPRAY

Directions
Saliva substitute, in gel and spray form, composed of special cellulose polymers and copolymers that give the product strong lubricating, moisturizing, and long-lasting protective properties. Indicated for the treatment of xerostomia (dry mouth) and all forms of salivary hyposecretion of any origin and severity, and especially when replacement therapy is necessary due to the inability of the salivary glands to recover their function due to autoimmune diseases (Sjogren's), radiation therapy, chemotherapy, or drug therapy with psychotropic drugs.

Dosage and Directions for Use
For mild to moderate dry mouth, apply a small amount (0.5-1 cm) with a finger or cotton swab along the gum line, distributing evenly at least 3 times a day. For severe dry mouth, apply a 1-3 cm amount directly to the tongue and distribute evenly throughout the oral cavity at least 4 times a day or as needed, taking particular care when applying in the evening. Use the spray as needed; in any case, at least 3-4 times a day.

Warnings
Close the tube or bottle after use and store away from heat sources. Do not use BioXtra® in combination with toothpastes containing synthetic detergent bases or foaming surfactants.

Conservation
Keep at room temperature.

Spray: lysozyme; lactoferrin; lactoperoxidase system; standardized purified colostrum extract; water; sorbitol; maltitol; hydroxyethylcellulose; sodium benzoate; sodium methylparaben; potassium sorbate; potassium chloride; sodium chloride; sodium propylparaben; dipotassium phosphate; citric acid; calcium chloride; magnesium chloride.

Format: gel: 40 ml and spray: 50 ml.
